DENSE REFRACTORY BRICKS

The silica alumina dense shaped refractory products are the most widespread,representing 70 % from the whole of the consumed refractories.

Silica alumina refractory products are in the group of the binary system  SiO₂ –Al₂O_3. The main refractory oxide of these products  is the aluminium trioxide (Al₂O₃).

As the Al₂O₃ content grows, the  using temperature of the respective refractory products grows too.

Silica alumina refractory bricks refractory products produced by half-dry pressing of a homogeneous mix of refractory raw materials.

Due to the characteristics of the raw materials,of the way these are checked,and how  the whole manufacturing process is monitored,the characteristics of the finite product should be in the parameters asked by the customers and in the same time by the specific standards.

From the point of view of outlook,our refractory bricks have , uniform colour ,homogeneous structure,plain surfaces,compact edges and corners.

Application field :

Dense silica aluminarefractory bricks have many sided application in  lining of thermal equipments from different fields  as :melalurgy,oil-chemistry,machine building industry,glass industry,lime industry,cement industry etc.

It can also be used in lining  boiler equipments (steam,warm and overheated water.),in  cupola furnaces, in fine,refractory and bulding ceramics furnaces,in ore baking furnaces,in soda calcinating furnaces,in heating furnaces in food industry,in smoke channels and chimneys,in  garden barbecues,in fireplaces ,and in metallic and terracotta stoves.

Formats and size. From the point of view of format and size,silica alumina refractory bricks , show  a very large pallet, selection is made according to their specific application.

Refarom SA can produce special formats at the customer’s request .

For special formats(non standard)if technological conditions allow,these can be made  on drawing basis.
