SILICA ALUMINA INSULATING REFRACTORY BRICKS

Insulating or lightweight refractory bricks have a manysided application area in insulating refractory living. These bricks have a total porosity of over 30 %

and are usually made from kaolines,fireclays,lightweight silica-alumina chamottes,with or without  foam and wood shavings’ addition ,and are shaped by means of pressing,vibration/casting from slurry  and  by cutting.

These type of bricks have major advantages,in reducing of thermal energy consumption.
